85% of demand growth will come from developing countries.


Advanced economies will also see increased power consumption after a period of stagnation.



Renewables & Nuclear to Meet Demand

Solar PV will supply 50% of the demand increase, aided by cost reductions and policies.


Nuclear power will reach new generation highs yearly from 2025 onward.


COâ‚‚ emissions from electricity generation are expected to plateau, following a 1% rise in 2024.
